This traditional style Portuguese quinta sits 4km above the picturesque and quaint village of Ponta do Sol, on the warm south coast of Madeira. It is surrounded by unpolluted nature and flowing levadas, and has magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. The area is lush and green, with sun-jewelled, dappled, terraced lands. The small rural hotel grows its own vegetables and fruit. The extensive grounds include their own agro-biological and poultry farm, a large orchard and their locally famous honey-bee hives. Help gather red strawberries in the warm sun, taste test the honey produced on the premises, watch lemons change colour, or savour the fresh juice from their orchard grown fruits.
