Smithfield, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is set in the gentle hills of the Shenandoah Valley with a majestic view of fields and orchards, mountains and forests. Our 350 acre all-natural, sustainable farm offers varied ways to experience a pleasant sojourn. Enjoy hearty breakfasts made using farm produce. No antibiotics, hormones, or chemicals of any kind are used on the farm. The farm store sells our all natural products (free-range chickens, turkeys and eggs, and all grass-fed, grass-finished beef, pork, goat and lamb in season). We also make and sell organic handmade pasta. Smithfield Farm is not organic certified because the USDA restrictions are not nearly as high as their standards.
