The Weavers Shed Restaurant with Rooms is a former cloth finishing mill in the centre of the village of Golcar. Set in the heart of the Colne Valley it was converted to a restaurant over twenty five years ago and adjoins the former mill owner's residence, which now comprises five spacious luxury guest rooms. The restaurant offers a menu of suitably rustic dishes, in a setting of rough stone walls and flagstone floors. It is one of the few restaurants in the North to have its own kitchen garden. The restaurant grows fruit, vegetables and herbs as naturally as possible on over an acre of land, which is picked on an almost daily basis. Eggs are provided by the restaurant's own chickens and ducks.
