Lovely old farmhouse, built over 200 years ago, with spectacular views over the top of Weardale in an AONB. We pride ourselves on good home cooked food, organic when possible or wild / local. Home produced beef, wild salmon, trout, game, vegetables grown in our garden or from our neighbour's organic farm. Breakfast - with local sausages, homemade bread, muffins, jams and marmalade - is taken in the conservatory. Most of our meals are traditional - good clean honest food served in the delightful dining room. Taste of Durham Award for Champion of Local Produce 2011. Silver Award in World Marmalade Competition.
