Stay at the farm house bed and breakfast or the cottage, part of our 10 acre organic farm on Quadra Island near Vancouver Island. Since 1996, guests have experienced slow food meals, produced from our organic fruit and vegetables, and naturally raised chicken and lamb. The cellar holds over a thousand units of jams, jellies, juices, dried fruit. Three freezers are refilled, in season, with vegetables, wild seafood and meats. Our winter garden keeps us in fresh greens - brussels sprouts, kale, garlic, onions, carrots and hardy herbs. In April, we wild harvest nettles, then oyster mushrooms. Since 2001, we have offered a 'Learn By Doing' program of organic farming. Guests fill up on our 'Edible Wild' walks.
