4 star period country house with magnificent views, set in the heart of Wales between the Cambrian Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. We offer friendly hospitality and high quality food and drink (the restaurant has two AA Rosettes). All our produce is sourced fresh, local and mostly organic, with a daily changing menu. We use single estate tea, coffee and fair trade products. We were the first eco-friendly and organic hotel and restaurant in Wales. Good Food Guide listed 2004-2008. Other accolades include the Green Dragon Environmental Award and the Considerate Hoteliers Sustain Food Challenge Award. We are the pioneers of food transportation by railway. Discount available for those travelling here by train.
