Organic produce [35-45%], natural and wild produce, local produce
Bunchrew House Hotel is a 17th century Scottish mansion situated just yards from the sea. It is set amidst 20 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens and woodland where no pesticides are used, and where areas are left deliberately wild to provide a natural habitat for wildlife. Award winning food, fresh, local or organic, is served in the wood panelled dining room overlooking the sea. The chef uses naturally reared meat and fish, which wherever possible is locally and organically produced. Try the organic muesli from Brin Herbs near Farr, and the smoked duck or organic smoked salmon from the Summer Isles. Bunchrew House grows its own organic potatoes, herbs and cooking apples, and uses locally produced organic vegetables.
