Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast
£45 per person per night
Organic breakfasts are provided
Prebendal Farm, built in 1863, is only a mile from the Ridgeway - the most ancient road in Europe. The classic Victorian red brick farmhouse is enclosed within its own extensive walled gardens, which sweep away from the house in a succession of ancient terraces to the medieval fish pond. This working arable farm is situated in Bishopstone, a beautiful chalk downland village with an exquisite Norman church and a multitude of thatched cottages clustered around an old mill pond. Organic breakfasts are provided, using produce from the famous Eastbrook Farm next door. The Royal Oak pub [also run by Helen Browning of Eastbrook Farm] offers an extensive organic menu and is just five minutes walk from the house.
