A small brick built building of unknown age, set on a low hill at Shortlake Farm just to the south of the village. It commands panoramic views over Weymouth and Portland and out across the English Channel. Located off a quiet no through road up a gravel track, it’s surrounded by pasture where we graze sheep and occasionally cattle. There is a barbecue and seating here so you can enjoy the view from this secluded location. Apart from the outstanding views, the South West Coast Path is nearby for walks into Weymouth [3m] and Lulworth Cove [7m]. Osmington village, with a pub and a couple of small shops, is about five minutes walk away. The walk to Shortlake Farm's private beach takes five minutes or so across the fields.
