Lough Bishop House nestles peacefully into a south facing slope overlooking Bishop’s Lough. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, it is in an unspoilt and tranquil setting amid the rolling farmlands and lakes of Westmeath. We are a working organic farm, with sheep, Irish Moiled Cattle and Irish Draught Horses. Enjoy fine food - much of which comes from our own farm, garden and orchard. We promote organic food and this is identified on our menus, using homegrown produce where possible and when in season, including our own organic beef, lamb, eggs, jam, fruit and vegetables, plus home pressed apple juice and honey from our bees. When sourcing any other products we aim to purchase locally and organic if at all possible.
