The 17th century country house, built by a Perigueux judge, was restored fourteen years ago respecting the original interior proportions and using mostly traditional natural materials. The style is simple but tasteful, with an old fashioned feel. Situated on a six hectare property, there are woodland walks directly from the house. We live next door, fifty metres away, and run a small organic market garden on the property. An expansion is planned to include medicinal plant production and traditional wheat varieties for baking. A brick lined wood fired oven exists on site. Organic meals are available to order. There are Bio Coops in Bergerac- 20km away, and Perigueux - 25km. We know several other local organic producers.
