The straw bale house can accommodate four people, with one double bed and two single futons for a family friendly eco holiday or a unique green holiday with friends. The beautiful smooth cob and earth plastered walls, with quirky built in features, create a snug and cosy feel, and the reciprocal frame roof and roof light express beauty and clever design. For those who like to cook over an open fire, there is a camp fire outside the roundhouse. Our three and half acre site is designed according to permaculture principles and includes a cob bread oven, vegetable garden, polytunnel, orchard and soft fruits, wild fruits, herb garden, etc. We offer a discount if you travel by foot, bicycle, electric vehicle or public transport.
