The Herons Rest nestles on the banks of the River Corrib in an idyllic waterside location just minutes from the centre of Galway City. Each double ensuite bedroom has stunning views overlooking the Claddagh harbour and across Galway Bay and The Burren. In the morning the smell of fresh baking fills the air. We have recently sourced a new organic delivery and change the menu to suit the weekly produce. We start the day with poached cinnamon organic apples and pears, served with organic homemade toasted muesli and organic yogurt; followed by a hot dish of your choice. Also on the table are a selection of Irish cheeses and local homemade organic jams. Gourmet picnic baskets and afternoon tea are available on request.
