Comfort Wood Cottage is a recently renovated former barn adjoining Newton Organic Farm. The cottage has a delightful rural outlook and its own private garden. Walking directly from the property there are numerous walks through the idyllic adjoining woods, which lead to the beautiful Tudor Cotehele House, gardens and 1200 acre estate. Newton is an organically run Cornish smallholding with a flock of Lleyn sheep, bullocks, horses, geese, chickens, ducks, ferrets and pigs. A Natural England Higher Level Stewardship agreement is helping to reinstate five acres of organic apple and pear orchards, two hundred metres of Devon banks, two and a half acres of species rich meadow and a two hundred metre cherry lined avenue [c1880].
