Cuckoo Farm is situated in the county of Rutland in a secluded position next to a golf club and bordered by the River Chater. Cuckoo Farm Barn is a spacious two bedroom cottage converted from a stone barn. It has exposed stone walls and beams, and an open brick built fireplace. Outside there's a large covered patio area which looks across the garden towards the river [guests may go fishing]. Cuckoo Farm is a working farm, mainly arable with an organic free range poultry enterprise producing organic free range chickens, cockerels, geese and rare breed traditional turkeys. A herd of fallow deer grazes round the poultry huts. The farm participates in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme. The cottage is not available in Nov/Dec.
