Canfields Farm has a tradition of sale from the farm gate, and milk was sold from here back in 1948. Since our conversion to organic in 1996, we have retailed the finest slow grown beef and lamb as part of the Farm Assured scheme. We can trace our entire herd of suckler cows back to three foundation mothers, Peggy, Fox and Delight. You will also meet Loman chickens and Goodwood lambs, whom the children can help bottle feed in the spring. The tents are sited right on the edge of our fantastic bluebell woods, so the children can roam in and out at will. At the end of the day you can slow cook or barbecue our wonderful organic beef and veal whilst you look out over the commanding views of the South Downs and the sea beyond.
