Our authentic farm to table fine organic dining is consistent with the Slow Food ethos
Historic B&B on Lummi island in the northwest corner of Whatcom County. The most northeastern island in the famous San Juan Island chain, Lummi is easily reached by a six minute ferry ride. The journey is beautiful with silhouettes of Lummi’s sister isles jutting from the sea. As owners of both the Willows Inn and Nettles Farm [the farm being established in 1992 and the inn being bought in 2001] we chose to make the farm the centerpiece of our dining program at our fine dining restaurant, and also at our onsite pub. We grow our own vegetables, eggs, poultry, pigs [Mangalitsa and Berkshire], and most of what we serve is organic and sourced very locally. We were certified for twelve years, and still keep the same practices.
