Set in a quiet hamlet, Civray comprises an idyllic little cottage offering privacy and wonderful views and a spacious farmhouse apartment with three bedrooms. The Loire Valley is famous for its fertile land and mild climate, which sustain the excellent quality of vegetables sold in local markets. Quite a few farms in the area are proud of their organically grown produce, including meat, cheeses, fruit and juices, which can often be bought directly off the premises. Visit local vineyards, or dine in 'fermes auberges' offering speciality cheeses and fresh vegetables. With its unspoilt plains, hills and river valleys the landscape lends itself comfortably to walking and cycling. Wildlife abounds, including rare birds of prey, deer and wild boar.
