In season - apples, cherries, sloes, greengages, strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries
Orchard Farmhouse and nature reserve is set in a tranquil corner of Dorset. The house was originally built in 1800 and enjoys panoramic rural views. There’s plenty of space in this self catering property, with six bedrooms, three bathrooms and two sitting rooms - and outside you will find gardens, a wildflower meadow and fields of almost eight acres in which to roam. Guests are welcome to pick fruit in the garden, which includes apples, cherries, greengages, strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries and sloes. The garden has been cultivated organically for several years and is free of pesticides. The village is blissfully rural, with lots of fine villages, abbeys and woods to explore by foot, bicycle or car.
