Wheems is an ecological and organic 10 hectare horticulture and animal smallholding, producing organic food for a local market. The farm buildings are 200 years old and have been renovated using local, traditional and sustainable materials. Wheems Camping, to the front and south-east of the farm, is in an elevated sea-facing field with stone dykes. There is a stile providing easy access across farmland to the sea, cliffs and beaches [these can be reached by car in two minutes]. Camping is available for up to sixteen pitches, and a yurt provides campers and bothy guests with additional living space. Wheems has hot showers, loos, and utilities including a washing machine and a drying line. Open from April to October.
