La Cerreta is located on the hills in the Tuscan Maremma, only 15km from the sea. We practice biodynamic agriculture on our ancient 70 hectare estate, which has vineyards, olive trees, horses and cattle, gardens and fruit trees. Organic products include olive oil, wines, fruit [for eating fresh or making jams and preserves]. From our garden we pick a large variety of vegetables in season, for use both fresh or preserved. We also use wild produce, fruit, chestnuts, mushrooms, picked from the forest around the house. Accommodation is in restored stone apartments in a simple and fascinating atmosphere. We offer you a slice of Maremma culture - the cooking, horse riding, the agriculture, and artistic and cultural activities.
