On the hills of the Val di Noto, dipped in pure uncontaminated Sicilian nature, is the Casa del Timo [House of Thyme]. The house is situated on a little farm that produces organic medicinal herbs [thyme, sage]. It is the perfect place for relaxing and meditation. Open spaces and ancient paths ['mulattiere'] are the predominant landscape. Spontaneous herbs and shrubs, whose perfume fills the air, surround these hills. The house is located 9km from the unusual Baroque town of Noto in the sunny southeast of the island, and is ideal for couples or families wishing to spend their holidays in contact with nature in the peace and quiet of the Iblean Hills. The region is populated by olive and almond trees and citrus plantations.
