Col Di Lavacchio is an organic farm in Northern Tuscany. The old farmhouse is comfortably furnished with antiques and has two terraces with a barbecue and an old bread oven. The old stable apartment is spacious and elegant and has a rose covered loggia with barbecue for shady eating out. Ducks, hens, guinea fowl and acres of vegetable garden and orchard are all kept entirely organic. We produce a range of fruit, vegetables, salads, herbs, etc from which we make tarts, soups, salads and cakes or biscuits as well as chutneys and pickles. We also have our own free range hens and guinea fowl for wonderful organic eggs. One day cookery classes available. If you’d like to take advantage of a fully catered week, please enquire.
