Knellstone House is a beautiful 15th century house in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with two double bedroom guest suites. A traditional English breakfast is offered - generally, ingredients are organic and free range, sourced locally. The garden provides produce for the kitchen, and we use local seasonal produce from a farmers' market. The extensive developing gardens, in excess of three acres, also offer visitors the opportunity to relax and see the natural landscape beyond, across the picturesque River Brede Valley and to the sea. There are many interesting walks from the house across the stunning countryside, and there are cycle paths to the historic town of Rye and beyond to marshland and shingle beaches.
