Ashby House was built in 1899, lovingly restored by our family, and Heritage designated. We offer hospitality, comfortable rooms, excellent home cooking and over forty years of insider knowledge. We're a five minute walk from Robson Street and ten to fifteen minutes walk to Stanley Park, English Bay or downtown. Our breakfast is full cooked, cold or continental depending on your whim. We use local, organic ingredients whenever possible, along with fairtrade coffee, homemade jam, marmalade and the best of the farmers' market. In keeping with a philosophy of trying to reduce our impact on the environment, we use organic soaps, flowers, cleaning products, cloth napkins, cotton sheets and recycled paper products.
