In 2006, the Prince of Wales acquired and renovated an 18th century farmhouse in Viscri. The building has been sensitively restored and is furnished with a number of Transylvanian antiques. We have been asked by the Prince of Wales to run his house alongside our Miklosvar guesthouses. We offer accommodation, transfers, and activities [including hiking] at the same prices as in Miklosvar. Excursions and activities comprise guides, entries, restaurant meals [a la carte] or picnics, and transportation. Meals are copious and organic and also include wine. The Prince of Wales hopes that his guesthouse in Viscri will encourage more people visit Transylvania and in this way promote sustainable development and tourism.
