Fattoria San Martino is situated 800m from Montepulciano's old town walls. The farm and villa have panoramic views over the whole valley. The villa has been recently restored according to the rules of bio architecture, using exclusively natural and ecological materials. For breakfast [and also vegetarian dinners, which can be prepared upon request] we use homemade produce and organic products either directly from the farm or bought locally. Outside there is a bio rwimming pool, free of any water chemical products. The farm covers an area of 5 hectares of land, cultivated with biodynamic / homeopathic methods philosophically inspired by Rudolf Steiner, and produces saffron, extra virgin olive oil, honey, cereals and grass.
