Altiplano Tipis is a small bijou site, with three north American Indian style tipis and a little cave dwelling, nestled in the valley of the Rio de Baza. The tipis are environmentally low impact and the cave dwelling naturally ecological. Living within an earth structure keeps the rooms ambient all year round. We supply on-site local organic and free-range meats for barbecues, and a selection of other organic and locally produced foods. Depending on the season we can also provide organic produce from our garden. A short stroll from us is Cuevas Al Jatib, a cave hotel where you can enjoy a meal (Andalucian, Arabic or French), a tapas or just a drink. We are ideally located for walking, cycling, and other low impact tourist activities.
