Bowden is a beautiful 82 acre organic farm in a secluded valley with stunning views to the sea and Dartmoor. Enjoy walks directly from the house, see our rare breed cows, sheep, alpacas and chickens, meet the lambs and calves, and collect fresh eggs. The Grade ll listed house was originally built in the 16th century. On arrival you will be served with a Devon cream tea - homemade scones, local preserves and clotted cream and a choice of fine teas. Delicious breakfasts are served in the tranquil dining room - fresh fruit and organic yoghurt, warm baked bread, smoked salmon with free range scrambled eggs, traditional cooked breakfast, kippers or kedgeree. We aim to serve local organic produce whenever possible.
