Nestled in the higgledy piggledy hamlet of Trescowe, Grove Cottage was once the home of the village cartwright. All three rooms have a private bathroom - the Hayloft, with original A frame beams, Cartwright's, with a comfy bedstead, and Ivy's, which overlooks the gardens. Next morning, refreshed, you'll be enjoying food that has never journeyed inside a supermarket lorry. You'll find milk fresh from cows which graze Cornish clifftops, eggs laid that morning from a nearby farm, succulent gammons and bacon for breakfast, all meat sausages, handmade bread from 'Promises and Piecrust' using organic flours [rye, white, granary and wholemeal], Cornish marmalade on Cornish toast - a great way to start the day.
