Delightful rammed earth and unique timber property. Passive solar design, solar hot water heating, wool insulation, underfloor heating. The north facing house enjoys all day sun and overlooks Lake Rotokauri and the surrounding hills. Relax, unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet in a park-like setting on 2.5 acres. We offer two guest rooms in a separate wing of the house with a well appointed private bathroom. The native bush setting includes an organic orchard, vegetable and herb garden [not certified]. Breakfast is included in the tariff [a full range of cereals, toast, fruit juice and cooked options]. Dinner can be provided by prior arrangement at an additional cost. We serve home-grown seasonal produce when possible.
