Solar house on a 5 acre farm (farmed organically for 20 years) in the small fishing village of Port Sorell. There's a river at the end of the street and the bay is only minutes away - bikes and canoes are available. The farm provides you with a wide range of organic food - the first fresh vegetable in spring is asparagus (Sep-Nov) and raspberries ripen around Christmas. At most other times there are strawberries, lettuce, silver beet, parsley, carrots, potatoes and lots more. Sweet corn (Feb-March), tomatoes from mid January and then there is a variety of beans, peas and onions, cucurbits, apples, pears, peaches, blackcurrants and lots of herbs. Fresh eggs and milk are also available.
