Two Mongolian style yurts nestled in the mountains of central Portugal, about an hour inland from the ancient town of Coimbra. The self contained and fully furnished yurts each have their own private bathroom and are set on our smallholding of terraced land, which we manage organically. Olives, vines and fruit trees surround the yurts and our own spring provides water. Energy is solar powered. We provide a substantial continental breakfast using local produce where possible, served next to your yurt under a chestnut tree. With advance notice, packed lunches and delicious home cooked evening meals are also available. There are some fantastic wild swimming spots locally, where you can bathe and swim in mountain rock pools.
