We endeavour to procure all our ingredients organically, locally and from sustainable sources
Centrally located within the Lake District National Park, Cote How is a 16th century country guest house and tea room offering luxury accommodation and organic food. We are no longer licensed with the Soil Association but do still endeavour to procure all of our ingredients organically, locally and from sustainable sources. Enjoy freshly prepared hearty organic breakfasts and homemade organic cream teas. We bake all our own scones, cakes and bread, and make our own preserves and chutneys using organic produce. Set in four acres and close to Rydal Water, Cote How is within easy reach of Ambleside and Grasmere. Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award. Winners of the Cumbria Tourism Sustainable Tourism Award 2008.
