Lower House is a romantic old house in its own secluded seven acre valley on the Welsh Border. We are next to Offa’s Dyke Path and a mile from the book town of Hay on Wye in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Breakfasts are mostly organic, locally sourced and fairtrade. We also offer good vegetarian options. Featured in several national magazines there is much of interest in the garden for guests to enjoy and be inspired by, with topiary and luxuriant planting, a vegetable garden and wild areas. You can walk to the Black Mountains or to the River Wye from the door. Plas Bach, in the Box Garden and next to a stream, is our new self catering option - an eco built private place for two with some organic provisions provided.
