This is a large, traditional Normandy farmhouse. It is divided into two parts, a very tranquil two bedroom gite and the main house, each having separate driveways, parking and private garden areas. There is a working well at the house, and we have water butts to collect rain water. Set in beautiful countryside the property is surrounded by an organic cider apple orchard, where plums, quince, walnuts and cherries also grow. The house is in the hamlet of Les Forges, 3km from the village of La Chaise Baudouin, which has a general store and bar / café. There are many market towns in the vicinity, with wonderful fresh produce and specifically organic stalls. Lots of walking, cycling, birdwatching, swimming, relaxing, etc.
