Isolated smallholding run on renewable energy (solar energy equipped). Surrounded by olive groves it's ten minutes walk from the bus stop, fifteen from the village, and forty five minutes drive from the Mediterranean. Evening meals available - aperitif €4 (optional), followed by a 3 course meal of salad, main course, cheese or dessert (fresh fruit), wine included. Served on the terrace. Two horses available for experienced riders. Horse and cart promenade to the panoramic views of the gorge of the Gardon River without crossing any roads. Cabrières village is situated between the Pont du Gard (UNESCO World Heritage List) and Nimes. We can guide you to local traditions unique to this region, and to regional plants and animals.
