A granite stone cottage in a secluded woodland valley setting. It is set back from the river and has its own private garden with steps leading down to a mill leat [the cottage is not recommended for under fours]. You will receive a friendly welcome and some homemade Cornish biscuits. We have a private nature reserve with a wildlife conservation lake and bluebell woodland and we are part of the Agroforestry Research Trust garden network. Guests may like a tour of our forest garden, where we grow some unusual fruit and vegetables. There are peaceful country walks from the door and at the same time we are within easy travelling distance of both north and south coast beaches and many popular Cornish attractions.
