A picturesque farmhouse on the banks of the River Coquet in the heart of rural Northumberland. We offer five ensuite rooms, and guests have exclusive use of the farmhouse dining room and lounge. As well as a hearty Northumbrian breakfast, we also cook traditional roast dinners, homemade soups and puddings. The food is locally produced and seasonal. The meats we serve are organically reared, and the fish fresh wild North Sea salmon. We are a licensed premises. Set in 720 acres of organic farmland, Thistleyhaugh retains much of the charm and many of the historic features found in a traditional Georgian farmhouse. The working farm, with cattle and sheep, has been run by the same family for over a hundred years.
