Burnlaw is on a 50 acre organic smallholding on the edge of the West Allen Valley, one of the most unspoiled and beautiful corners of Britain. Part of the North Pennines, it has hilly uplands, steep wooded valleys, fast flowing limestone streams. The Tall Barn is part of a complex of stone farm buildings. It has a large room with sleeping arrangements for six people, reception room, kitchen, very large studio room, two shower rooms, a bath and two loos, and is centrally heated. The farm has a small herd of suckler cows, horses, poultry, orchard, organic vegetable garden, woodland. Guests are welcome to explore the farm, walk the labyrinth, use the games field and the internationally recognised disc golf course.
