Burnlaw is a 50 acre organic smallholding on the edge of the West Allen Valley, one of the most unspoiled and beautiful corners of Britain. Set in the North Pennines uplands, it enjoys steep wooded valleys and fast flowing limestone streams. The bunkhouse offers dormitory style accommodation and is part of a complex of traditional farm buildings. We have suckler cows, horses, poultry, an orchard, a vegetable garden, a herb garden, woodland, and nationally rated wild flower hay meadows. Guests are welcome to explore the farm and the various walks in the surrounding valleys. There is a meditation garden with a temple and a labyrinth to find your way around. We also have an internationally recognized disc golf course.
