An oasis of tranquility, Ulpotha is an organic farming village as well as a yoga and ayurvedic retreat in the jungle heartland of Sri Lanka. This idyllic lakeside community, in a beautiful tropical rural area, is open to guests for only a few weeks each year. It is a place of total peace, where you can experience warm, generous and gentle hospitality. Delicious organic food, including nutritious organic red rice, is grown on surrounding farmland. Proceeds from holidaymakers go to eco community projects, helping local farmers to grow more organic crops. Prices are per person on a full board, twin sharing basis, and are inclusive of excursions, yoga, massage, and any other treatments that may be available.
