The backwaters of Kerala are a self supporting eco system teeming with life. Kuttanadu is one of the rare places in the world where farming is done below sea level. This beautiful countryside with its waterways is rich in crops like rice, banana, cassava and yam. Our traditional houseboat is made with natural wood and fibre. It contains well furnished ensuite bedrooms, living / dining room, kitchen, sun deck. Delicious Kerala food is prepared inside the houseboat kitchen. We encourage the use of home grown vegetables and fruits for our guests on the cruise. Normally these are grown very naturally in the home surroundings by appying bio fertilizers and natural manures [ash, natural compost, vermi compost, etc].
