These imaginatively designed cottages have panoramic views of Borrowby Edge, Roxby, and eastward to the sea and Staithes Valley. We have an holistic approach to the environment and will be happy to share our enjoyment of our kitchen garden with guests. The kitchen garden is backed up by a sixty foot polytunnel providing exotic fruit and vegetables to complement the traditional orchard and plots. Ridge Hall gets its water from a spring at Twizzy Ghyll, and this is just filtered and purified. Rainwater is collected to water the gardens. A wind vane is soon to be situated in the kitchen garden. Future projects include planting a small vineyard, building a new greenhouse, a hen house for fresh eggs, a natural swimming lake.
