Country house accommodation with award winning breakfasts and delicious dinners. Situated off the beaten track in Mortimer Country on the north Herefordshire / south Shropshire borders, where England meets Wales. Our cooking is much praised for its ingredients and flair. We are members of Slow Food and believe in the importance of low food miles. Our productive vegetable garden, managed on organic principles, supplies the kitchen with year round fresh seasonal produce. We buy all other ingredients from small local growers, producers and suppliers, thus supporting the rural community and economy. Open all year for short breaks, private house parties, bring your own horse holidays, cookery courses, and food safaris.
