A quiet lakeside retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains [40 minutes from Monticello and 30 minutes from Charlottesville], perfect for couples and small families. We are renovating this recreational farm, built in the 1960s by my grandfather and father. Our goal is to become a certified eco-lodge. We offer six newly renovated cozy eco-friendly cedar cottages as well as an events lodge available for retreats, meetings and weddings. We also propogate native organic wild plants. Enjoy complimentary organic, fairtrade, shade-grown coffee, teas and spices. The best organic eggs are available just up the road at Gryffon's Aerie and you can visit nearby Innisfree Farm to experience beautiful organic vegetable, herb and flower gardens.
