In a superb secluded location by the sea on the 160 acre private island of Davaar, these unique cottages enjoy stunning views. Otter and Island are an adjoining pair of spacious lighthouse keepers' cottages sharing a walled enclosure with the neighbouring caretaker. Lookout is a former wartime lookout post nestled on a hilltop a hundred yards above the lighthouse. Set at the northern tip of Davaar Island they are connected to the mainland by a causeway - revealed by the sea for six hours at low tide. On arrival and departure, and for arranged shopping trips, visitors will be ferried by Land Rover across the causeway, leaving their cars at the quayside.
