Mawddwy is an unspoilt, quiet valley in the superb scenery of the southern Snowdonia National Park. Nant-y-Nodyn's four self catering cottages, a quarter of a mile apart, are situated in this valley about two miles from the wool village of Dinas Mawddwy and near the highest pass in Wales, which leads to Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake. The cottages are part of a sheep and beef organic farm, which has been positively managed with conservation in mind, and guests are welcome to explore and enjoy the wildlife.
