Down Barn is a 100 acre grassland farm set in a hollow of the Ridgeway Downs. This organic cattle and pig enterprise is quietly situated and gives the impression of being completely isolated even though it is in fact close to Oxford and the Cotswolds. A full English cooked breakfast is included in the price of the rooms, and evening meals are available if required [with a little advance notice]. Most of the food served is from the farm and garden, and is therefore all organic. Some of the special dining features offered are home cooking, home produce and vegetarian food. The countryside around the farm is ideal for walking, off road cycling and riding. The whole area is renowned for its racehorse training stables.
