We farm sheep and cattle on the hills in a remote and beautiful glen with a large organic garden. You are welcome to join in the work and share the produce during your stay. We keep a supply of beef, lamb and venison in the deep freeze if you'd like to try some. The estate is a wonderful place for bird watching, with many rare birds visiting during the summer. For those interested in nature photography there are many interesting plants and wildlife. The Rhidorroch River, which flows immediately below the Lodge, has deep pools where you can catch small trout. Enjoy swimming in the river pools and exploring the river gorge and waterfalls. The pony tracks are challenging and varied for mountain bikes [for hire locally].
